Star Trek Premiere Hair: NO
Chris FinePine and Zachary Quinto looking FAB at the LA premiere of Star Trek!!! I adore their outfits so much I almost won’t even comment about how FinePine is wearing one too many patterns in my opinion (striped shirt + paisley tie + dotted pocket square = OVERLOAD. PICK TWO, FINEPINE!) OR that Quinto appears to be taking hair tips from a frosty treat we Americans know and love:
But overall, LOVE! Blue suit! POCKET SQUARE! And that jacket + shirt combo on Quinto…SWOON. Also worth noting: Quinto apparently found his top button again and its ability to be unbuttoned. Congratulations, sir, we knew you could do it! Must be so much easier to breathe…

That we totally missed Martin Freeman and Amanda Abbington at the STID London Premiere. I ADORE her sparkly shoes, and as much as I think Martin Freeman is the most adorable hedgehog man in the world, he looks like a Scottish Easter Egg. Just…no. Please. Kthanksbye.

3000TH POST! SO EXCITED FOR SO MANY REASONS!!!
Y’all are all so lovely and have been sending so many HILARIOUS and WONDERFUL messages and we haven’t been maliciously ignoring y’all! We have been ignoring y’all but only because we wanted to save up for our 3000th post! And we hope to not disappoint!
Firstly, these lovely anons:
1: Would you talk about the outfits in London photo call (the one in front of the bridge)? They all look lovely except Chris Pine… Like you say, Stylist is not good enough for him :). I love Benedict’s look in it.
2: The press conference pics from today: Are those the same grey trousers he wore recently at this party thing?
3: oh no! He’s wearing THAT shoes, THAT trousers, THAT shirt and THAT suit again!!! He does really need a stylist!
Of course we can do that, loves! And I’m assuming lovely anon 3 is referring to Chris Fine Pine because yes, I’ll renew my call that he needs a clothes chaperone, a position I’ve invented to overrule everything his stylist says.
The group pic from the STID press conference has really encouraged us to reveal a metric that we here at WAYWB have been developing for months. I present to y’all, the WAYWB scale of shirt buttoning:
Minutes MONTHS of scientific research have gone into metric. The scale runs from Forest Gump (ALL THE BUTTONS) to Saturday Night Fever (buttons? what are buttons?) and unfortunately our lads fall on the outer ranges of our scale:
In B’s defense, I’m pretty sure the way he’s got his arms around the people next to him is exaggerating the V-neck, but still, come on. Just one more button or just do away with the shirt altogether (there would be no complaints here!). And Fine Pine, either wear a tie or unbutton a lil’. It’s gotta be hard to breathe in there.
And now to the PREMIERE! We’re going to be posting more pics and witty (maybe) commentary, but for now, I’ll just say I love the suit but wish it weren’t black. Colors, Mr. Cumberbatch! Google them! You look SO good in blue!!! And I have to agree with
Not a curl to be seen. RELEASE THE CURLS, B! THEY STRAIN AGAINST THEIR GEL CAPTORS! LET THEM BE FREEEEEE!!!! I’m not totally against this ‘do - he looks very suave - but I do prefer the Cumbercurls :-)
