I do love a man in uniform.(And with hair the colour of a thousand burning suns.)

Because whose heart wouldn’t stop if this walked into your make-up trailer at 5 am. Or any time really, and anywhere too…
Sartorial success Saturday Thursday
The jacket, the turn-up on his jeans, the shoes, the fact that he might have been so tired he felt like death on legs, but still was so incredibly funny and seemed so wonderfully happy. Happybatch makes Happyme.

Given that Benedict recently reunited with Scarlett Johanssen when he visited Marvel, I figured we should all take a moment to appreciate Mr Cumberbatch in all his Tudor finery. Doesn’t he look lovely?
(Also, this is my 300th post! I had no idea that I had so much to say about somebody else’s wardrobe, yet here we are.)

The blue suit again, as requested! I just love this colour - and it really does suit him, especially with the honey-blond hair.
It is also worth pointing out that his sleeves are slightly too long. It is rather endearing.

My, my, Benedict. How you’ve changed in the past 8 years!
I approve of the braces and grey trousers and light blue shirt (I do love a rolled up sleeve). And the LA tan. Looking good, Mr Cumberbatch. Looking very good indeed.
(Come home soon, though. England misses you!)

This photo was submitted by an anon, who drew attention to Olivia’s outfit. However, this is not whatareyouwearingolivia, she looks perfectly fine, and it’s a Saturday. And this just so happens to be one of my favourite photos of Benedict. (It’s mostly down to whatever in hell his hair appears to be doing).
The other reasons I like this? Leather jacket. Jeans (even though he has paint on them. I doubt this is a fashion statement; I think he wore them whilst painting and then “they seemed clean”). Lovely warm soft brown jumper. Classic white shirt underneath.
Also, he’s carrying Olivia’s coat, what a wonderful gentleman.
(The eagle eyed amongst you might spot Bonus Peter Capaldi in the background, too - this is an event for In The Loop).

Ah, the return of the Dapperbatch! Looking super suave with his suit and his superb sparkly sequin shoes. Also, we get bonus leather glove action, just a shame that he’s already taken them off.
(This is a submission from the lovely Emma.)

Somehow managing to look pretty-fucking-dapper even though your tie is wonky and you only buttoned the middle button on your jacket - well played, Mr Cumberbatch.
Please report to my, uh, office to claim your prize.

“Hello, my name is Young Benedict Cumberbatch, and today I am wearing period costume like a boss. Check out these knee boots and my sassy neckcloth. Yes, I will wear these in the bedroom, you didn’t need to ask.”

Hello my lovelies!
I’m away from Tumblr this weekend!
In my absence, Sartorial Success Saturday will use DOUBLE UP! and evolve into Wardrobe Appreciation Weekend. Fingers crossed, my queue should behave itself whilst I’m away. I’ll be back at some point on Sunday so if it all fucks up you should get more posts Sunday afternoon, UK time.

You didn’t think I’d let a SSS pass without mentioning the Oscars suit, did you?
The choice of the double breasted waistcoat under a single breasted jacket was a bit unorthodox, but the geniuses at Spencer Hart have made it work. I would happily cede my wish to dress him to Spencer Hart’s crew. If he just wore those suits from now on, I don’t think he’d get any complaints from anyone (especially not his dry cleaners, just think of the bill).
Now, if only he’d worn the beautiful, wonderful, sparkly LV shoes again. That would have been the exquisite icing on an already very delectable cake.

By all rights, this shouldn’t work. Crazy windswept hair. Patchy stubble. Boring brown crew neck jumper with a white shirt. I think it’s the magical wonderful beautiful leather jacket that is arousing my, uh, interest.
Benedict, your nerd’s showing. (I love it.)

Sartorial Success Saturday.
Casual Benedict. Not the biggest fan of the drawstring top, but the leather jacket makes up for it. And the, um, view. Have I posted this photo before? I quite profoundly do not care.

He arrived with the hat, I’m just glad he’s not wearing it. I really love the suit (I have a soft spot for charcoal grey, and I like the contrasting thin lapel; plus, he wears it very well) and my god the tie is amazing. I know it’s just a tie. But it’s lovely.
As an aside, Ms Ennis. What is your dress and why?
