It depends on how it is done. I think it can be done, but maybe not all combinations(LIKE BROWN SHOES TO A BLACK SUIT REALLY, B?), but some things can work.

For the color Anon, it’s all about balance. Like, you can’t wear an all-black outfit and then throw some brown shoes on. It just… won’t work. But since navy, brown and black and white are all considered neutral colors, pairing them together can look really good if you balance it all correctly. (IE: A black shirt-dress with a caramel type of brown (in the shoes and belt) is a good start)
