PBS showed “Murder Is Easy” last night and I watched it just to see Le Batch. Yes to more linen & light colors (but I’d like the suits a little more fitted, mmmkay?). Another vote for protective motorcycle gear (reinforced knees, perhaps with Kevlar) re: the pants with the funky seams. But don’t cry … be happy he’s wearing them to protect his Batch-ness.
E: I know, I know. He has to protect his batchness, but that doesn’t stop it looking really uncomfortable and…erm….funny looking.
And YES more white well fitted linen suits. OH DEAR ME MR HOLMES!
Does Benedict have the high tops type of Converse or the lower ones? I can’t tell…
E. I’m going to make a guess and say he probably has both. A pair of higher navy and one pair of lower black? Or two pair of black..Oo five. Who knows?
That tie looks like grosgrain ribbon. Although, I did have a professor who had a rubber tie, and I wouldn’t put that past Benedict.
E. t does indeed seem to be grosgrain. I am slightly in love with that idea.
Got a correction from a designer. It is bengaline:
I must admit I am not too impressed with the New Orleans outfit. the t-shirt could be a bit tighter and plain white is a bit boring. how do you know that he is wearing shorts? and I would love to see the shoes he chose. Big NO to the thing on his head (it’s too ugly to deserve a name).
E. You can’t wear a tighter tee in that heat. It turn you into a sweating pile of sweat…And we know it was shorts because the person in the photo said so. :)
I bet he was wearing flip flops or crocs……………. shhiiivieeer
What if Benedict secretly reads this blog and just wears the things you tell him not to sometimes to piss you off?
R: Is this a confession, Ben? I’m pretty sure this is exactly what happens.
